For my opinion, problem lagging is because of our Computer's or Laptop's RAM capacity. For heavy duty PC with RAM up to 2GB above should no problem loading item in public room. 2nd problem we have to think of is our internet connection speeding. This problem will causes lagging when your PC or lappy loading items from the public room and others item.
When you bring higher kbs entering the room might be effect other people to load all your item. However items already in your outfit, after complete loaded... people should not have a problem hang out with you in the room. But still... will make other people (who has problem with internet connection) lagging for a long time.
The real problem are when you are already in the room. First the line is slow, coincidentally maintenance update or programming upgrade by imvu. Friends were enter the room still loading their item and so do you. Suddenly someone who already in the room keep loading his or her items (changing outfit). This will causes more lagging.... hanging and stucking.... lalalalalalaaaaa
If you wanna enter any public room, make sure you already fitting your outfit with items you like to match with your costume. Then is ok if you in high kbs in the room. People will appreciate you not to load too many items while you in the public room. Be fair and understanding with our friends condition.
